Historical Note:

The Indiana State University College of Technology includes the following departments: Applied Engineering and Technology Management; Aviation Technology; Built Environment; Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology; Human Resource Development and Performance Technologies; and a detachment of Air Force ROTC; and a detachment of Army ROTC. The college’s programs focus primarily on the preparation of professionals desiring to become managers, process technologists, supervisors, instructors/trainers, pilots, and teachers in the areas of industry, education, business, and government. The technological segment of society provides exciting careers for persons who want to combine theory and application in their study. Students may pursue a bachelor’s degree in any of the following: adult and career education, advanced manufacturing management, automation and control engineering technology, automotive engineering technology, aviation management, civil engineering technology, computer engineering technology, construction management, electronics engineering technology, engineering technology, human resource development for higher education and industry, information technology, interior design, mechanical engineering technology, packaging engineering technology, professional aviation flight technology, safety management, technology and engineering education, technology management, and textiles, apparel, and merchandising.
